April
11-13, 2015 was a memorable occasion for the trainees of Horticulture NC II. An
expert trainor from Kinoguitan National Agricultural School visited Barangay
Bongdo in the person of Mrs. Miraflor Emata. She shared her experiences and knowledge
on how to grow vegetables and plants. The presentations provided more insights
to the learners on the modern procedures of caring and propagating plants. This
augmented the knowledge and potential to earn more through Horticulture NC II.
Sharing
sessions were held at the Learning Stations at Kagawad Alexander L. Cole in
Saling-it, at Learning Station located at Mr and Mrs Emelio and Fredesvinda
Biore at Sityo Cagay, and at Kagawad Felilia C. Retuerto at Bongdo Proper. It provided
the trainees ample time to discuss as the distance from the learning station is
within a shorter walking distance than travelling to the Center. The community-based
approach to training as a training modality of TESDA is appropriate to the learning requirements
of the participants.
NOTE: Assessor Mr. Marino Sarvida expected to arrive Bongdo by noon of April 30,2015. This gives us more time to review.
